Privacy Policy — Léa

Last updated: September 8, 2026

Léa is a cycle-tracking app (period, fertility, symptoms). Your health data is among the most intimate there is — which is why Léa is built "local-first". Your data stays on your device; only anonymous statistics and the feedback you choose to send go through our server (details below).

Your health data stays with you

Everything you log in Léa — period dates, ovulation, flow, mood, symptoms, discharge, intimacy, weight, temperature, notes — is stored on your device and, if you enable it, synced via your private iCloud account. This data:

Sharing with your partner

If you use the Partner screen, you generate a summary of your cycle yourself and share it through the iOS share sheet (message, email…), to whomever you choose. Nothing is synced automatically and nothing goes through our servers.

Notifications

Reminders (upcoming period, fertile window, pill, check-in…) are scheduled locally on your device. No push notification is sent from a server.

Purchases

Subscriptions and purchases are handled by Apple (App Store). We have no access to your payment information.

Anonymous usage statistics

To understand how the app is used and improve it, Léa periodically sends our server (api.mesrdv.fr, hosted in the European Union) anonymous, aggregated counters — e.g. number of tracked cycles, number of journal entries, Premium status (yes/no). These statistics:

Ideas & bug reports

If you submit an idea or report a bug from the app, the text you write is sent to our server so we can read it. This is voluntary — don't include personal or health information. These contributions are tied to the same anonymous install identifier, unlinked to your identity.

Your rights (GDPR)

An important note

Léa is not a medical device. Predictions are estimates and replace neither medical advice nor contraception.
